WHO WE ARE

ONE KIDS PLACE Childrens Treatment Centre provides rehabilitation and related support services for children and youth (up to the age of 19) and their families living in the Districts of Muskoka, Nipissing and Parry Sound. All staff will provide service within an interdisciplinary team environment committed to family‑centered practice. THE OPPORTUNITY Position: Physiotherapist Location: Muskoka Effective: ASAP Status: Unionized Job type: Permanent Part Time 17.5 hours per week Effective September 2024 OKP has begun to roll out an Alternate Hours program at our North Bay site to provide services to our communities outside of standard business working hours (after 4:30 PM). Staff will be expected to participate which may result in working alternate hours once per month to support this program.

Please note that this program may be implemented at our other locations in the future. POSITION SUMMARY The Physiotherapist provides assessment, consultation, clinical diagnosis and treatment planning to assist children and youth to achieve their optimum rehabilitation potential in all areas of physical function, including the prevention/delay of physical dysfunction and injury. Note that supervision of therapy assistants and family education are important components of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Physiotherapy Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario 2 years recent related work experience in a pediatric/health care setting with children and youth with special needs Working knowledge of community resources and supports within the Districts of Muskoka, Nipissing and Parry Sound Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills / Excellent oral and written communication skills Valid Ontario drivers license and reliable vehicle Computer competency and adaptable in the use of computer software for the purpose of assessments, documentation, programming and communication. Good attendance / Work Record Bilingualism (English/French) / ADP authorizer are preferred Proof of COVID Vaccinations as required by the sector WHAT WE OFFER As an employee at One Kids Place you will become part of a team of skilled professionals working together to meet the special needs of children, youth and their families. COMPENSATION

$39.54 – $49.40 hourly (depending on prior experience as per our Collective Agreement). Relocation assistance may be available to candidates who qualify.
