OverviewJob Summary: The Product Manager role is responsible for overseeing the data platform, including its design, deployment, and security. This involves managing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams, and ensuring the platform meets business needs while adhering to technical and compliance standards. The role also includes risk management and vendor collaboration. Location: Toronto, Ontario, CanadaResponsibilitiesOwn and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, security, and compliance.Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform evolution.Partner with engineering leads to ensure smooth sprint planning, delivery, and release management.Make rapid, informed decisions on trade-offs, technical constraints, and prioritization.Monitor platform KPIs such as performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and adoption.Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed in a timely manner.Implement best practices to minimize project delivery and operational risks.Provide oversight and management of vendor relationships and resources.Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.Foster strong relationships with business units, ensuring alignment between data initiatives and organizational goals.Prepare material for and participate in select steering committees.Required Skills & Certifications10+ years experiencePreferred Skills & CertificationsNot specifiedSpecial ConsiderationsHybrid work model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (subject to change).SchedulingNot specified #J-18808-Ljbffr
