Maxxit Group works closely with architects and contractors to translate design intent into beautiful, durable, easy-to-install architectural components for commercial and retail projects across North America. With manufacturing facilities in Toronto Ontario, Maxxit specializes in design assist, project management, and fabrication of innovative interior and exterior architectural solutions.
**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**
Maxxit Group is looking for a full-time Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager role is crucial to manage the growth and development of assigned product lines throughout the entire product lifecycle. If you enjoy growing company revenues by developing, launching, or implementing new products and have 5+ years’ experience in architecture, engineering, manufacturing and/or marketing sector this might be the opportunity for you.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience.
- Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Drive assigned product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Oversee market research to support product management and development objectives.
- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
- Manage product certification and testing process.
- Partner with marketing team to create communication plan to promote new products.
- Provide management with in-depth analysis and reports upon request.
- Work with sales and operations on sales forecasting and market demand segmentation.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- MS/BS degree in engineering with 5 +years of experience in product development, architecture, or marketing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- The ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop unique and appealing architectural products.
- Proven proficiency using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat & Illustrator, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Databases, CAD/3D knowledge, and SketchUp.
