This role focuses on experience strategy, journey design, and conceptual design, helping shape customer-facing and employee experiences across Insurance’s digital and physical ecosystems. As a strategic design leader, you will thrive in ambiguity, champion user needs, and translate insights into compelling North Star visions, journey maps, and experience roadmaps. You will regularly present and sell experience visions to Senior Management and Executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment across business, product, and technology teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and own customer and employee experience design strategy for assigned Insurance Journeys Create target‑state journey maps, service design blueprints, and North Star vision artifacts aligned to 3–5 year roadmaps Craft tangible and compelling Experience Vision presentations for senior leaders and executives Partner closely with business, product, and technology stakeholders to deliver industry‑leading experiences Guide multi‑disciplinary teams through human‑centered design processes Deliver high‑quality experience strategy outputs including discovery plans, research insights, competitive analysis, prototypes, and experience roadmaps Coach and motivate design colleagues through hands‑on feedback and leadership Promote cross‑disciplinary collaboration and contribute to enterprise‑level strategic design frameworks Required Skills & Qualifications Required: 5–7+ years of experience leading experience strategy and conceptual design for complex enterprise or consumer products Degree in design or related discipline (UX, HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, Information Systems, etc.) Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting and influencing at senior and executive levels Deep understanding of creative disciplines: experience strategy, design research, interaction design, visual design, and copywriting Strong business acumen, with ability to translate design into measurable business impact Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational awareness Strong attention to detail Preferred: Experience within financial services or insurance organizations Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar) Experience conceptualizing and designing AI‑driven experiences Strong independent visual storytelling and communication skills Additional: Comfortable working in ambiguity and managing multiple priorities Skilled in conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing outcomes Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Schedule & Work Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Overtime: No Rotation: No Travel: None About the Client A Top 10 bank in Canada and North America, providing comprehensive financial solutions across retail, commercial, wealth management, and wholesale banking.
