We are looking for a Help Desk Technician for a full time permanent engagement. Role is fully on site in Downtown Toronto. Job Description Serve as the first point of contact for IT support to all firm staff. Address Help Desk tickets and provide personalized assistance for hardware and software issues. Deliver remote technical support to end users as required. Troubleshoot and resolve Help Desk issues, escalating complex problems when necessary. Track, document, and ensure completion of all support requests. Maintain Help Desk coverage during regular business hours, ensuring all inquiries are responded to and resolved promptly. Support and maintain technical hardware including computers, mobile devices, phones, printers, and photocopiers. Assist with workstation support, system implementations, and software/hardware rollouts. Required Qualifications Diploma in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized community college. Hands‑on experience with standard business technologies and applications, including: Windows 7, 10, and 11 Microsoft Office 365 Networking (TCP/IP), Active Directory (2008, 2012R2, 2019) Microsoft Exchange Online / Outlook 365 Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2019 Desktop and laptop configuration and support Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support users professionally. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure. Comfortable working independently or collaboratively within a team. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
