Fortinet is looking for a detail-oriented candidate to join the Forensics team in Vancouver. As part of the Forensics team, you will be supporting our cyber security incident-handling program by conducting digital forensics investigations, malware analysis, and threat intelligence research to support various teams internally and externally. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth forensics analysis on compromised Windows/Linux/MacOS operating systems Correlate data from network logs and disk logs, developing threat intelligence based on the artifacts and indicators of compromise during investigations Identify attack vectors and other affected systems Reverse engineer malicious binaries Work closely with the InfoSec/PSIRT teams to contain and remediate incidents Communicate forensic findings (written and verbal) to both business and technology audience Qualifications Minimum 3 years\' relevant experience Experience in forensic investigations on-premise/cloud is an asset In depth understanding of Windows, Linux/UNIX operating system Experience with disassemblers and debuggers is an asset Analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills for writing and presenting report findings The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
