Our client is a mid-sized, full-service law firm located in downtown Vancouver and they are seeking an experienced paralegal to work in foreclosures, receivership and insolvency. This is a great opportunity to join a respected firm and continue your career in downtown VancouverResponsibilities will include:Preparing and filing foreclosure petitions and related notices of application and otherDiarize proceedings, following up on service of materials and setting mattersManaging files and ensuring complianceCorresponding directly with clients, opposing counsel and third partiesDrafting communications, pleadings, and other legal documentsMaintain and organizing filesQualifications:5 to 10 years of relevant work experience as a paralegal, preferably in foreclosures and insolvencyStrong understanding of foreclosure processes and legal terminologyProficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and PDF softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailThe salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 and is dependent on experience, knowledge and skills.
