Our client is a mid-sized, full-service law firm located in downtown Vancouver and they are seeking an experienced paralegal to work in foreclosures, receivership and insolvency. This is a great opportunity to join a respected firm and continue your career in downtown Vancouver
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and filing foreclosure petitions and related notices of application and other
- Diarize proceedings, following up on service of materials and setting matters
- Managing files and ensuring compliance
- Corresponding directly with clients, opposing counsel and third parties
- Drafting communications, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Maintain and organizing files
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience as a paralegal, preferably in foreclosures and insolvency
- Strong understanding of foreclosure processes and legal terminology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and PDF software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 and is dependent on experience, knowledge and skills. Our client also offers a benefits package, including an RRSP Matching Program.
