Job Details Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior level Employment Type: Full‑time Job Function: Manufacturing Industries: Railroad Equipment Manufacturing and Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing Responsibilities Programming and operating CNC machines. Selecting tooling and setup methods to produce parts efficiently. Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure all specifications are met. Modifying machine speed, tooling and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy. Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing the Fidelity quality standard ISO & AS9100. Troubleshooting and diagnosing common CNC problems. Use of various hand tools. Performing minor maintenance tasks and tool calibrations as needed. Following all health and safety regulations and controlled goods requirements. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC machines. Journeyman, machinist trade certificate or equivalent experience required. Experience in Mastercam, Powermill, Solidworks or any other CAD/CAM software is considered an asset. Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening. Interview Behaviors Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities. Strong time‑management skills to successfully complete tasks on a tight timeline. Comfortability in a physically demanding role including standing for long periods, repetitive tasks/movements and potentially lifting heavy objects. Positive attitude.
