We provide a variety ofservices to large retail and commercial businesses nationally.We have a competitive compensation & benefits plan including health, dental andvision, and a pension plan after 1 year.About this PositionThis role is responsible for leading, managing, coordinating andimplementing the customer scope of work within a designated area, to provideexceptional Janitorial Services.You will also be responsible for increasing revenue from existing customers andmanaging a mobile workforce.Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the development and implementation plans for customer(i.e. waxing schedules/, budgets, potential add on sales opportunities)Build strong relationships with customers and sub contractorsResponsible for training subcontractors and employees on required legislatedtraining (WHMIS, Health & Safety, etc.) and United cleaning specifictrainingLead all process initiatives and work with senior management to identify trendsand process gaps.Analyze and control store budgets, monitor expenses for operations and developstrategies to decrease costs and increase profitability at store levelImplement transitions of new business in customer locations in compliance withtransition processSupport in Hiring/Recruitment/Training/Performance Management/Termination ofsubcontractorsWork in compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislationJob RequirementsAvailable to address customer and subcontractor needs and concerns in atimely mannerAbility to work flexible shifts on a rotation basis including evenings andnightsWilling to travel frequently within the designated territoryAbility to work in a fast-paced & high stress environment and solveproblems effectivelyValid driver’s licence and good driving recordSkills- QualificationsBusiness acumen, strong verbal and written communication skillsActive listening skills, time management, leadership skills, autonomy,competent with technologyManaging budgeting & costing within janitorial operational environmentsKnowledge of floor-care and cleaning procedures is an assetAbility to motivate a mobile team of sub-contractorsEducation/ExperienceDegree in business administration or related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the Janitorial industry or any other dynamicoperational environment3 – 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role #J-18808-Ljbffr
