We are looking for an experienced candidate with proven tack record in a dental office. The candidate must have strong leadership skills, high degree of organizational skills and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). The candidate must have strong knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning. Knowledge of ADASTRA is an asset.
Key Duties:
Meet with patients and determine patient’s preferred payment option
Conference regarding patients financial contracts
Post start codes, enter contract info into orthotrac and scan financial agreement
Announce daily collections and activations at morning meeting, providing information for game board
Maintain schedule for sending out statements and calling delinquent accounts as well mailing receipts
Handle telephone inquiries from Insurance companies & patients
Contact insurance companies where necessary to check on benefits or claims for patients
Post charges & payments and adjustments
Print the day sheet and reconcile cash, checks and credit cards with deposit slip
Dental Receptionist duties including answering the phone, emails and scheduling patients
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), PC and email applications.
Keen attention to detail.
Self-directed and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills.
Team-oriented mindset, complemented with the ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Working knowledge of any Dental software is a mandatory
