Dorfin is seeking a Director of Business Development, Retail Sales to support the continued growth of the organization. This role plays a key part in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the retail market, while actively driving sales growth and market expansion.ResponsibilitiesLead the retail sales team’s performance while developing and managing pricing strategies, ensuring price lists remain accurate, competitive, and supportive of revenue growth.Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the retail market, including new accounts and selling opportunities.Drive sales growth through new product listings, expanded assortments, and incremental programs.Prepare and deliver business proposals, lead negotiations, and close commercial agreements.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity.Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams.Track opportunities, sales forecasts, and performance results.Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail sales or business development.Proven ability to identify and execute new growth opportunities.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Knowledge of the Canadian retail market is considered an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
