Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role plays a critical part in supporting month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is energetic, eager to learn, and passionate about contributing to continuous process improvements. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career in a collaborative and supportive team.In This Role You WillAssist the month-end closing process including journal entries, general ledger account reconciliation, intercompany confirmations, reporting, and analysisAssist other important year-end tasks including physical inventory, standard costing updates, and interim audit preparationResponsible for preparing, filing, and ensuring compliance with sales tax requirements across Canadian provinces and U.S. states.Fixed asset and capital expenditure trackingOversee intercompany reconciliation processEnsure integrity and compliance with internal controls and policiesIdentify areas for continuous improvement and proceed in developing the necessary processes and systemsTake a proactive approach by analyzing, researching, and resolving issuesEngage with non-financial stakeholders as a Business Partner to lead key finance initiatives within the organizationParticipate in special projects as requiredWhat You NeedUniversity degree specializing in finance, commerce or equivalentCPA designation or close to completion (IE.
