**Position**: Financial Analyst
**Location**: Corporate Office, Cambridge, ON and Hybrid
Southbridge Health Care LP (Southbridge) is currently looking to add a talented Financial Analyst to our corporate finance team at our head office in Cambridge, ON. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Analyst will support with financial reporting at the corporate level.
Southbridge is the owner and operator of long-term care homes and retirement communities in Ontario. Southbridge’s mission is to operate a best-in-class portfolio of care homes and retirement communities that consistently deliver excellence in care and services in an economically sustainable manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Analyze and submit regulatory and tax compliance to all provincial/local regulations and laws and regulations.
- Participate in the interim and year end audit process
- Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and bank accounts
- Assist with any ad-hoc projects throughout the several finance team functions

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) obtained or in progress.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong business analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Minimum of one year work experience as a financial analyst,
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance or finance degree.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial team members.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
