Our client, a leading Food Bakery company, is seeking skilled and safety-conscious experienced Forklift Operators, Shippers/Receivers to join their team and start as soon as possible.Temporary ongoing positions, with the potential to move them full time.Working locations: Vaughan, Etobicoke, Brampton, ONWage: $20.20 per hour + 4% vacation pay; Night shift premium is $0.50/hr.All 3 shifts are available for all 3 locations:Afternoon: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pmNight: 10:00 pm - 6:30 amMust have a minimum of 5 years to 10 years of experience working in forklift focused roles consistently.Responsibilities:Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.Load and unload trucks, ensuring that items are handled safely and efficiently.Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.Requirements:Proven experience for 5 to 10 years as a Forklift Operator within manufacturing or warehouse distribution, food industry experience is nice to have.Must have a valid forklift certification on all the machines - Dock stocker, Counter Balance, Walkie Rider, and Reach Truck.Must be willing to work for the role for the long term and someone who is looking for a stable role and wants to grow within one company.Requires education in a similar field or high school degree only.No Students are accepted for this role.Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance.Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory management.Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Join us as we strive for excellence in our operations while providing a safe working environment for all employeesHow to apply:Please send an updated resume along with forklift license toresume2021@gc-employment.com with the subject line "ForkliftOperator" or call at647 860 3954.--------Great Connections Employment Services Inc.We are an equal opportunity employer.
