This firm is known for its client-centered approach and commitment to delivering exceptional legal services. They are offering a hybrid role with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $90,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage emails, correspondence, calendar entries, client meetings, court dates, and client intake processes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and support.
  • Draft and prepare routine correspondence and documentation.
  • Organize, review, and manage client documents and information essential for case preparation.
  • Assist in the drafting of Applications, Answers, Replies, and other court-related documents for review by the lawyer.
  • Support lawyers in court preparation and attendance.
  • Ensure timely receipt and organization of client information according to internal protocols.
  • Handle e-filing of court documents and manage confirmations and status updates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law Clerk in a litigation setting.
  • Diploma from a recognized institution in a Family Law Clerk program.
  • Membership in good standing with the Law Clerks Association of Ontario.
  • Solid understanding of Family Law Rules, forms, and court procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and drafting skills with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in a small team and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Divorcemate.
