You would be working to support North American environmental compliance and lead Health & Safety programs for their Canadian manufacturing location. This role is ideal for an experienced EHS professional who enjoys hands‑on leadership, training, audits, and working directly with regulators. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Canadian environmental regulations Identify compliance gaps and support audits and inspections Lead Health & Safety programs at the Canadian site Develop and deliver safety training, including: Onboarding safety training Emergency preparedness & response Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Spill response and containment Conduct hazard assessments and site audits Support incident investigations and injury reporting Partner with People & Culture on return-to-work and disability management Liaise with external regulatory and legislative bodies Qualifications Diploma or degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years experience in an EHS role, specifically in manufacturing settings Strong knowledge of Canadian Health & Safety legislation Experience with environmental compliance and audits Excellent communication and training skills English required | Spanish an asset SAP or EHS system experience an asset Why Join Us? $80-90,000 salary Amazing company culture and extremely low employee turnover High‑impact role with real ownership, and the chance to make a difference Great company perks including solid benefits package Opportunity to shape safety and environmental programs Contact Harbinger Network to apply Harbinger Network Inc. is a Canadian‑based firm that serves companies across Canada and USA, a diverse Network of Recruiters, and expertise in over 10 major disciplines.
