Department: Toxicology and Exposure AssessmentThis posting is to fill a current vacancy.The RoleThe Environmental and Occupational Health team examines how air, water, food and our physical environment can impact population health. The successful candidate for our 2026 summer practicum will work with a diverse team of environmental health scientists and professionals to support public health practitioners throughout Ontario in the areas of health hazards, safe water, and food safety.The successful candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to the following activities:Review and interpretation of environmental dataJurisdictional scansLiterature review and knowledge synthesisDevelop and deliver presentationsSuggested placement start date: May to August 2026Please NoteThis position is only open to students who are currently enrolled in an academic program where the completion of a practicum placement is required.This position is only open to students currently residing in Ontario and attending a Canadian academic institution.
