**We have an exciting IMMEDIATE opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Snap Lake, NT Or Gunnar, SK.**

This is a front-line operations role, in which you will assist the Project Manager while you gain progressively more experience on job sites with every aspect of the project life cycle. You will support the Project Manager from start to finish, ensuring that projects are safely and profitably completed according to the schedule, budget & contract document.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will work with experienced Project Managers and technical staff to develop your skills finding, bidding, contracting, delivering and closing-out projects. Over time - while never losing sight of the immediate objective of delivering our current projects safely and profitably - your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
**Project Management Support**
- Ensure project requirements are met in a timely and professional manner, including data collection, analysis, and presentation, as well as the development and implementation of submittals such as health and safety plans, quality management plans, traffic management plans and environmental management plans
- Work with knowledgeable field staff to prepare accurate estimates for resourcing, cost and schedule
- Obtain quotes and estimates from vendors and subcontractors
- Prepare contractual agreements, purchase orders, change orders and claims with respect to consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare and process purchase order requisitions
- Document items received under purchase orders and review vendor invoices
- Plan and prepare Critical Path Method (CPM) milestone construction schedules and monitor progress against established schedules
- Monitor and follow up with subcontractors and staff to ensure work is being completed safely, on schedule and on budget to the specific requirements of the project contract documents
- Identify out-of-scope work before it commences, bringing it to the attention of the Project Manager
- Detect, control and report cost and schedule variances for assigned tasks
- Attend mandatory site meetings with, or as the delegate for, the Project Manager
- Compile and distribute meeting minutes and action lists
- Assist Project Manager with compiling and issuing progress billings

**Documentation Support**
- Obtain project numbers/create files
- Maintain file hierarchies and naming conventions
- Maintain and update standard project checklists
- Verify that that records are complete, current and compliant with contract requirements
- Obtain Certificates of Insurance, Consent of Surety forms, bid bonds, etc.
- Obtain/maintain business licenses, permits, authorizations, utility clearances, access agreements and crossing agreements for relevant job locations and job aspects
- Ensure records of meetings, orientation forms, training forms, inspection sheets, truck tickets, bills of lading, receipts, time sheets, manufacturer’s information packages and pre/post rental equipment photographs are collected and properly filed by the project team
- Prepare field packages for Superintendents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bid documents, initial contract documents, change directives, contemplated change notices, change orders, non-conformance reports, corrective action plans, inspection reports, product information submittals, QA/QC testing submittals, requests for information and supplemental information issuances

**Health and Safety**
- Read, understand, follow and display (lead by example) the Corporate Health and Safety Program, Policy and Procedures
- Participate in and/or lead Health & Safety meetings, discussions and training
- Conduct Job Safety Assessments, safety inspections and pre-task Hazard Assessments
- Constantly assess operator technique, fitness for duty, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure health and safety is considered in the performance of all activities
- Support local Health and Safety Coordinators

**Technical Application**
- Map workflows and conduct detailed analysis of, e.g., crew composition, productivity, sequence, routing, cycle time and other variables to improve safety and performance
