Territory Sales Consultant (TSC) Based out of Brampton, Ontario, the Territory Sales Consultant (TSC) spends up to 80% of their time in the field local to their affiliated store to build and maintain relationships in the account portfolio, securing ongoing orders for all lines of our business. Responsibilities include: Create and execute a prospecting plan to secure new local customers within the assigned market area to strengthen the local client portfolio. Promote Stephenson’s products and services to customers, providing applications and promotional materials. Develop daily and weekly sales call plans for prospecting new accounts and connecting with existing accounts. Complete and maintain call reports and sales plans accurately and in a timely manner. Provide the Branch Manager with regular updates on accounts for forecasting and collaboration and attend all sales meetings and events. Successfully establish new and/or build on existing customer relationships. Maintain sales funnels and communicate site information with sales and operations teams. Prepare and deliver annual customer pricing agreements and provide sales information for the budget process. Identify customer trends and make recommendations on new products, programs, and services. Ensure strong relationships and connections with internal partners (other TSCs, Branch/Hub Managers, and Store Teams) to review weekly sales activity, wins & challenges, and opportunities to increase market share. When required, load the required company vehicle and deliver items to customer sites. What You Bring to the Table Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree preferred. 2 to 5 years experience in Sales and/or Customer Service, with a preference for a background in Rental Equipment or Construction. Valid G-Class Driver’s License with clean abstract. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining tight deadlines under multiple projects. Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks, manage projects, and solve problems. Acute business acumen and negotiation skills.
