Whether you’re an experienced professional, a recent college graduate or somewhere in between, IDEX is a place where you can apply your existing skills and learn new ones in an environment where you can make an impact.With interesting opportunities in engineering, marketing, sales, supply chain, operations, HR, finance, and more across more than 40 around the globe, chances are, we have something special for you.Electrician**Reports To:** Supervisor of Electrical**Essential Functions:**Position requirements include, but are not limited to:* Wire equipment to ensure all electrical parts are in working order, as per specifications.* Panel building, machine wiring, drive programming, and machine testing.* Set up and perform circuit tests.* Provide technical assistance to engineering designers, and shop personnel.* Perform electrical maintenance throughout the facility as required.* Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance* Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.* Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)* Lock out tag out – an asset.* Other duties, as assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities:** * None**Organizational Relationships:*** Will interact effectively and regularly with:* Hourly operations employees including Production Leaders, Purchasing, Inventory**Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Ability to interact clearly and confidently with all levels in the organization.**Computer Skills:** * Must be proficient in Microsoft office (Excel & Word)**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:*** Electrical license (309A or 442A)**Other Qualifications:*** Continuous improvement mindset - the ability to develop repeatable solutions to problems and continuously improve systems and processes.
