Data Integration Lead

The Data Integration Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, execution, and optimization of end-to-end data integration processes.This role ensures smooth coordination between upstream data sources and downstream consumers while managing Agile/Scrum activities.The position requires deep expertise in data engineering, integration practices, and cross-team collaboration to support scalable, reliable, and efficient data workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Data Architects, Analysts, Engineers, and other cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).Manage upstream dependencies such as source system changes and data quality issues, and assess downstream impacts including reporting delays and model updates.Optimize data flow processes to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance across systems.Troubleshoot and resolve integration bottlenecks to minimize disruptions for stakeholders.Lead change management efforts for data integration initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Develop communication materials and training documentation to support adoption of new workflows or system changes.Assess risks related to data integration and propose effective mitigation strategies.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration roles, with hands-on expertise in Azure technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks).Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.Proven ability to resolve issues related to upstream/downstream data dependencies, such as latency, schema changes, or API limitations.Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.Proficiency with Jira or similar tools for tracking backlogs, sprints, and deliverables.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for bridging technical and business teams.Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure or big data ecosystems.Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
