Occupational Therapist

OT Works is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Victoria, BC. This is a contract position with a full caseload. Job Summary An Occupational Therapist providing community-based services to clients in different stages of rehabilitation. Duties include: Assessing and treating clients in the community, in their homes, or workplacesWorking with clients with physical, brain injury, and/or mental health conditionsProviding services to a range of different customers (ICBC, WorkSafeBC, various insurers and government programs, and others)Delivering care independently, with support from our teamPreparing and submitting reportsDefining your caseload (client mix and number of files) Requirements Degree in Occupational TherapyMember of CHCPBC - College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (or eligible for registration)Valid driver’s license and vehicleLegal ability to work in Canada Skills Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoningA collaborative approach with peers and professional networksPassion, creativity, and drive to make a difference in the lives of your clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsNew grads are welcome; experience is valued, but not required.
