Client Profile

Our client, an asset management company, is currently looking for a Senior Corporate Law Clerk. This company has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review and/or draft a variety of standard contracts and resolutions;

- Assist in managing the corporate governance and corporate maintenance, including the coordination with external law firms who undertake such work;

- Assist with regulatory compliance programs, transactions, and special projects;

- Assist with litigation discovery requests, KYC requests, and other filings;

- Formatting, transmitting and processing documents through Docusign and Diligent;

- Providing administrative assistance to the SVP, Secretary & General Counsel and other legal staff;

- Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

- 8+ years’ experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department in a corporate/commercial role;

- Law Clerk or paralegal diploma from an accredited institution;

- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and;

- Excellent communication skills and a team player with a willingness to learn.
