This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a finance professional, supporting a long‑term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.Support operational excellence, financial integrity and continuous improvement.Assist with daily finance tasks, including data entry, reconciliations and reporting.Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.Participate in audits, compliance activities and internal controls reviews.Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.Learn to use finance related software and tools.Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional finance or accounting certification.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate).Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Effective communicator and team player.Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast‑paced environment.Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.Your Work ScheduleSchedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine.Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
