The environment is structured, professional, and quality-driven, with a focus on delivering coordinated, constructible, and compliant solutions.The RoleAs a Senior Architectural Contract Administrator, you will be the primary point of contact during construction for multiple large-scale and complex building projects. You will oversee the administration of construction contracts, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, and support both internal project teams and external stakeholders through all phases of construction.You will provide technical guidance, lead site reviews, manage documentation, and act as a key liaison between consultants, contractors, and client representatives. Your expertise will help ensure that each project is delivered to a high standard of quality, compliance, schedule, and performance.ResponsibilitiesLead contract administration activities for projects of varying scale and complexityConduct regular site reviews, issue field reports, and monitor conformance to contract documentsReview and process shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, site instructions, and progress claimsAssess contractor performance and escalate issues as requiredCollaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients throughout constructionInterpret codes, regulations, standards, and specifications to ensure full complianceParticipate in constructability reviews and advise on technical detailingMaintain accurate, organized documentation and communications throughout all project phasesProvide mentorship and guidance to junior team members involved in construction administrationSupport project close-out, including deficiency reviews and final documentationWhat You Bring10+ years of relevant architectural contract administration experience, with at least 8 years of experience working knowledge with North American by laws and building codesStrong understanding of building systems, technical detailing, and construction methodsGovernment reliability clearance is required to work on the projects at hand, strong preference to candidates who have this or held it previously.Deep familiarity with large construction contracts, field review processes, and industry best practicesAbility to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specificationsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExperience with REVIT, AutoCAD, and construction administration platformsCET, Architectural Technologist, Intern Architect, or equivalent technical background is considered an asset.
