We are part of a larger call group that enables members to take time off on weekends and holidays.May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:Recruitment Incentive: $10,000Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)Fee Premium: 6.09%Annual Flat Fee: $9,242.01Rural CME: $2,200/annum after 3 years in the community increasing to a maximum of $4,400 after 4 years.Start DateFall 2024Community InformationCampbell River is a growing small town of about 40,000 people located at the boundary of Northern Vancouver Island. We are home to approximately 35 family physicians and a very supportive group of specialists (6 general internists, 5 general surgeons, 2 plastic surgeons, 4 orthopedic surgeons, 3 urologists (in Comox) and 2 OB/GYNEs). We have a fantastic cohort of emergency room physicians (combo of CCFP and FRCP trained) who are gracious enough to do admission orders for us, making inpatient care very doable.Clinic is open Monday - Friday 9 am - 5pm.
