Job Description: We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You are expected to be well-versed in actioning inbound leads, assisting farmers throughout their decision-making process, and proactively engaging in cold call outreach to prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and action inbound sales inquiries effectively, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Guide potential clients through their purchasing process, providing in-depth knowledge of our products and the benefits of indoor farming technology.
- Conduct cold calls and outreach efforts to identify and secure new sales prospects.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through various channels including phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate with the sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet revenue goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on our product range when required.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest agricultural trends and product knowledge.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, customer needs, and product potential.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in agriculture or indoor farming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- A strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and desire to succeed.
- Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet business needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office or equivalent programs.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
