About Our Clients:Our local branded company operate this high volume Pub with rooms located in the heart of Whitby, known for their branded style all day food menu, craft beer selection, and vibrant atmosphere.As the venue continues to grow and expand their operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Full-time General Manager to head up the team for our Branded clients.Job Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to oversee all aspects of the Pub's operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-volume Pub/hotel or very busy restaurant environments, strong financial acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.This role requires a leader who can effectively manage staff, optimise operations, and drive business growth while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and customer service.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:Oversee daily operations of the Pub, ensuring smooth functioning of all departmentsImplement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiencyManage high-volume service periods effectively, maintaining quality and guest satisfactionCoordinate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality, presentation, and timely serviceEnsure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulationsFinancial Management:Develop and manage annual budgets for the InnMonitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, cash flow, and inventory reportsImplement cost-control measures to optimise profitability without compromising qualityForecast sales and adjust labour and stock controls accordinglyIdentify areas for revenue growth and implement strategies to increase salesStaff Management:Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across all departments when vacancies ariseCreate and maintain staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hoursConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedbackFoster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfactionAddress and resolve employee concerns and conflicts promptly and professionallyMenu and Beverage Program Management:Collaborate with the Group Executive Chef and venue head chef to develop and update menu offeringsOversee the craft beer and cocktail menu's, ensuring a diverse and appealing selectionAnalyze menu performance and make data-driven decisions on item retention or removalStay informed about food and beverage trends to keep the gastro-pub's offerings fresh and competitiveCustomer Service and Guest Relations:Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service hoursInteract with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptlyImplement and oversee customer feedback systems to continuously improve service qualityHandle and resolve customer complaintsIf this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, or if you would like to discuss any similar positions we currently have throughout the region then please send your CV through the link here, or call Eddy Nuttall in the Dish hospitality offices for more information #J-18808-Ljbffr
