Position Summary HPE Networking seeks a high-impact, dynamic sales professional to lead and expand our Large Enterprise portfolio across the Ontario region. The Account Manager will own and accelerate growth within strategic accounts, driving new business while deepening relationships across an established customer base. Primary Responsibilities Develop and focus on top accounts in the Ontario region. Engage resources, including BUs, marketing, SEs, and partner account managers, to drive success. Maintain a consistent cadence for partner‑led demand generation and call campaigns, with strong opportunity management. Execute executive selling against CxOs, IT management, and other key decision‑makers. Manage opportunities, meet quota attainment, deliver sales presentations, and conduct short‑term to long‑term opportunity management. Build 3‑month, 6‑month, and 9‑month pipelines. Develop account plans and long‑term sales pipelines to increase market share. Maintain high levels of customer loyalty and build trust and integrity. Advocate for client needs in negotiating solution sales and troubleshooting delivery issues. Enter all opportunities in the pipeline tool and update them weekly. Education and Experience Required Minimum 6‑8 years of networking and/or security sales experience; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Referenceable track record of successful sales in the region. Strong track record of driving sales and working with channel partners in Enterprise accounts. Experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals and quotes, and presenting networking products. Broad technological awareness in internetworking, data networking concepts, and routing and switching. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong presenting and closing skills with a Win/Win philosophy. Proactive team player with proven ability in matrixed environments. Excellent business acumen and relationship building skills. Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environment. Ability to travel. Knowledge and Skills Know how to motivate partners to sell our solutions. Excellent time management, presentation skills, and technology expertise. High‑level partnership and customer relationship building, especially with executives. High‑level negotiation skills with customers and procurement professionals. Advanced sales negotiations and positioning under pricing pressures. Extensive partner organization intelligence and ability to engage multiple partners. Use financial‑selling techniques to position value. Expertise in managing end‑to‑end sales processes in complex, large deals. Industry knowledge and ability to discuss strategic directions with IT. Strong knowledge of HPE’s breadth of solutions. Translate customer business issues into HPE solutions. Prioritize and drive strategic sales activities on complex deals.
