Instead, we take advantage of our smaller size by developing and nurturing long-term relationships not only with each other, but with our wonderful patients who so often say they love to come to their dental appointments to be greeted by the same friendly faces they have gotten to know and trust over the years. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - DENTAL ASSISTANT Taking dental impressions, records and x-rays Some lab work Reprocessing of dental instruments and equipment while following and maintaining relevant IPAC protocols and records Participating in a wide range of dental procedures and offerings including root canal treatments, dentures, crown & bridge, restorative, etc. Welcoming, seating and dismissing patients Engaging with patients and fostering a safe, caring and friendly environment Aiding the Dental Hygiene team with recording probing depths, help flipping rooms when needed Preforming intra-oral sealants and in office whitening procedures REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE HARP Certification Level II Dental Assistant Certification preferred; Level I will be considered Successful completion of a Dental Assisting course Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role would be an asset but not absolutely necessary for fast learners Friendly and approachable Confident, positive, and self-motivated with a true passion for dentistry THE HOURS Mondays to Thursdays 8:30 am to 5:15 pm Fridays 8:30 am to 2:15 pm THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Are you looking for a position with a close-knit team of coworkers who truly love what they do?
