Primary Job Title:Infrastructure Architect/Solutions ArchitectLocation:Toronto, ON (Hybrid)Shift/Work Schedule:Monday-Friday, Core Business HoursDate Posted: 7/11/25Employment Type: ContractSalary Range: C$78 - 93/hr Job Description:The Infrastructure Architect / Solutions Architect will provide strategic guidance across technology and business teams, ensuring architectural options and decisions align with enterprise goals and total cost of ownership considerations. The architect will lead or support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies, frameworks, and standards while also playing a key consultative role on high-impact and high-risk projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop architecture frameworks, including strategies, policies, principles, and standardsDevelop enterprise or segment-specific technology roadmaps and planning documentationReview, approve, and guide blueprints, development specifications, and system designsAnalyze business needs and recommend optimal technology solutionsProvide expert consultation on complex initiatives and high-risk projectsEnsure alignment of project activities with architecture and development standardsLead or participate in project planning, technical risk analysis, and pre/post implementation reviewsOversee vendor engagement and contribute to contract negotiations as neededCoach and mentor technical teams, while fostering cross-functional collaborationInfluence product direction, foresee architectural issues, and identify emerging trendsContinuously develop and share domain-specific knowledge across teamsAct as a senior-level contributor with deep expertise in architecture domains (Enterprise, Data, Application, Technology)Qualifications: Years of Experience:10+ yearsMust Have:Proven Solutions Architect and Solution Design experienceCSA CertificationExperience with ServiceNowDatabase management expertiseNetwork experienceNice to Have:CTA DesignationBanking sector experienceBackground in consulting environmentsAbout the Company:Top 10 Bank in Canada and North AmericaA leading financial institution offering a full spectrum of retail, commercial, wealth management, and wholesale banking services.
