We also partner with hundreds of local farmers and foodmakers to offer a full lineup of fresh, local, responsible groceries, delivered at home or at a pick-up point. From yoga studios to neighbourhood cafés, our pick-up points serve as an efficient means of delivering baskets to our Lufavores. To keep our network thriving, we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator. Our Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and expanding on the current pool of partner businesses. They have to keep their finger on the pulse and should always be in the know of which areas require development. An integral part of this job involves being on the road and speaking to local business owners to persuade them to support the Lufa Farms mission and to convert a physical area of their business into a pick-up point. Responsibilities • Develop, manage, and optimize our pick-up point network to ensure efficient and consistent service; • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, from onboarding through the end of the collaboration; • Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to maximize operational efficiency; • Collaborate with the sales team to respond to logistical needs and requests; • Oversee the onsite customer experience, ensuring each pick-up point delivers high-quality service and meets Lufa Farms’ standards; • Manage adjustments and unforeseen issues related to delivery schedules, order volumes, and partners’ specific needs; • Analyze pick-up point performance; • Support training and provide ongoing assistance to teams in Quebec City and Ottawa. Requirements • Possessing a valid driver’s licence is necessary for this role as you’ll need to drive from area to area on a regular basis; • Outgoing and confident public speaker. You’ll need to be able to convince complete strangers to dedicate a physical space of their own business to another company they might have never heard of; • A go-getter that will remain resilient and optimistic in the face of rejection. No’s and objections don’t phase you: you love a challenge; • Bilingual, with strong French communication abilities - the vast majority of our partners speak French; • Comfortable using computers and associated applications, and particularly; comfortable working with/or learning to use customer service management software and Excel; • Ability to work quickly and precisely in a fast-paced environment; • A team player who also has the capacity to work individually; • Has the ability to handle questions/comments/complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; • Has the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively; • Can handle stressful situations in a calm manner. Assets • Well-versed in sustainability, food systems, and food. You can confidently talk about a range of subjects including what hydroponics is, the role of biocontrols in pesticide-free agriculture, and the importance of last-mile logistics; • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for Lufa Farms’ mission to reinvent the local food engine; • Previous experience in a sales-related role; • Experience with logistics; • Knowledge of Quebec and its different regions. Schedule • Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 hours/week. • Flexible to changes in scheduling to accommodate business needs.
