Omnitrans is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator, Courier Services to join their Courier team in Montreal.
This role is designed for an energetic problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment who also has a flair for catering to customer satisfaction. The primary purpose of the job is to support the day-to-day operations of the Section 321 and Inland Freight divisions across several functions with a focus on customer service and operational coordination of special projects including assistance in processing billing files.

**Your day-to-day**:

- Coordinate the daily cross-border movement of goods via multiple transportation options across the east and west coast borders (USA/Canada).
- Manage the flow and processing of data files needed to facilitate entry into the USA/Canada.
- Maintain contact with warehousing partners and act as the conduit between them and our customers.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Handle customer challenges by providing them with appropriate solutions and alternatives within acceptable time limits.
- Follow up with clients/vendors as needed.
- Escalate to manager when required.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.

**What you bring**:

- 2 years of work experience, ideally in the freight/logistics or customer service industry
- Computer knowledge (word, excel)
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ambitious, energetic and performs well under pressure
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
