This position involves performing defined inventory tasks, coordinating materials across regions, and ensuring accuracy within the SAP inventory system. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision and communicates effectively with internal teams.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecute goods receipt postings in the ERP system and deliver materials to designated locations.Maintain oversight of incoming shipments from global sites and resolve related issues.Fulfill internal requests for inventory parts and accurately record transactions.Assist with loading and unloading goods.Participate in ongoing and periodic inventory counts.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications & ExperienceVocational training, apprenticeship, or similar education in warehouse operations or a related field is required.Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and production/manufacturing environments preferred.Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, air) preferred.Forklift and overhead crane operation certifications preferred.Familiarity with load securing methods preferred.Experience in international or culturally diverse settings is a plus.Proficiency in English and the local language required.Basic knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP)Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)SharePoint and Microsoft TeamsCore CompetenciesSolutions-Oriented: Applies analytical thinking to solve problems and present practical solutions.Teamwork: Encourages collaboration and supports team success.Customer Focused: Anticipates and exceeds internal/external customer expectations.Communication: Builds effective and trusted relationships through clear communication.Accountability: Takes ownership of tasks and outcomes within assigned responsibilities.Safety-First: Demonstrates a strong safety mindset.Global Perspective: Promotes respect for individual and cultural differences in a diverse workplace.Primarily based in a warehouse setting.Frequent work in shop/field environments.Occasional work in outdoor conditions (hot, wet, or cold).Occasional exposure to noise, elevated locations, and mechanical equipment.May require occasional domestic or international travel.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSupply ChainIndustriesOil and GasGet notified about new Inventory Specialist jobs in Leduc, Alberta, Canada.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
