For our Business Development Representatives you can expect to come into the office at least three days a week.Job DescriptionBusiness Development Representative (BDR) works on identifying opportunities at provided named accounts through outbound cold-calling, building relationships and qualifying leads for Account Executives.A successful BDR will engage with top compliance leaders and position Assent’s unique approach to solving the “compliance puzzle”. You’ll have a significant impact on growth through new customer acquisition, leadership interaction and scaling pipelines to meet growth plans.Key Requirements & ResponsibilitiesLeverage all available marketing resources and advanced sales development tactics to generate highly qualified meetings from target accounts within relevant industriesDrive pipeline growth by scheduling qualified appointments with Account ExecutivesQualify leads and prospect into ideal prospective companiesEngage with top compliance leaders to drive growthManage and monitor your work using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolMeet and exceed monthly/quarterly targetsParticipate in weekly meetings and articulate market feedbackFollow guidance set out by corporate security policies and standardsEnsure departmental security processes and procedures are followed where applicableBe familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance of Assent’s processesQualificationsExperience providing exceptional service in a Tele-Sales roleExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to work with diverse stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience tracking and reporting on customer activityCRM experience is an assetAbility to manage sensitive and critical client informationStrong work ethic, self-motivated and results-drivenAbility to handle a high volume of repetitive tasks with qualityCommitment to providing excellent customer support over phone and emailExcellent time management and organizational skillsAdaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environmentCritical thinker who can support efficient operationsLifelong learner with curiosity about technologyGrit; committed to excellence and driving resultsCoachable and open to feedbackProficient in MS Office and Google ApplicationsAdditional InformationAt Assent, we are committed to growing an inclusive environment where team members feel valued and heard.
