Founded as a portal for users worldwide, heavyequipment.com connects buyers and sellers of used equipment, showcases Industry News Articles, and provides information as well as entertainment pieces for those who love heavy equipment. Highly effective advertising opportunities exist for entities associated with the extensive list of verticals that are “touched” by heavyequipment.com.
Heavyequipment.com is searching for a qualified salesperson to join our team to sell Ads and Industry News Articles on the website, expand the customer base locally, nationally, and internationally and contribute to our rapid growth. The website is highly automated, allowing for rapid transition from prospect to client, with minimal guidance from the salesperson.
The ideal candidate should:
• Have sales experience, preferably including e-commerce advertising.
• Be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills
• Possess computer and technology skills and be able to quickly learn from training provided
• Enjoy communicating with people via email and/or telephone
• Be comfortable with making warm outreach via email and cold calls, utilizing existing contacts
• Be able to present the available website advertising client benefits in a persuasive and effective manner.
• Represent the company’s products and services in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships and closing deals.
• Be able to provide input and act on activities aimed at hunting for new opportunities, using cold calling, networking, business directories, and various techniques.
• Have strong business acumen and sense of ethics
• Possess problem-solving skills
• Have the ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts
• Grow revenues and meet or surpass sales quota expectations
Responsibilities:
• Utilize existing in-house, developed and advanced Customer Relationship Management software and systems. Existing systems track all incoming and outgoing emails, calls, as well as other information used to enhance sales potential.
• Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the website content and offerings and be able to handle objections
• Conduct warm outreach via email and cold calls, utilizing existing contacts
• Generate new business via prospecting, cold calls, and contact referrals.
• Interact regularly with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right products and services
• Present the available website advertising client benefits in a persuasive and effective manner.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of the website offerings to answer customer questions and determine appropriate solutions
