Role Overview The Operations Supervisor will assist with staff supervision, coaching and scheduling and create a safe, home‑like environment for clients, families and staff. The role may also provide customer service and intake coordination to referral sources, clients, families and stakeholders to ensure client schedule and funding needs are met, including completion and maintenance of service agreements. Responsibilities Supervise and provide direction to staff. Assist in ensuring that Direct Support Staff are scheduled in the homes. Collaborate with Clinical, Operations Managers and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst to develop monthly recreational activity plans. Collate and ensure follow‑through on contracted services, including the Individual Support Plan (ISP)/Plan of Care (POC) and Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) protocols. Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and regional licensing requirements. Assist in training and onboarding of Direct Support Staff. Provide applicable information to Manager for probation, annual performance reviews and performance improvement plans. Ensure mandatory and annual training requirements are complete. Report workplace injuries. Assist Operations Managers with accurate records of house petty cash and client personal funds. Assist with monitoring client finances (expenditures, reimbursements, personal‑fund reconciliation) and complete audits as per policy. Assist Operations Managers with completion and submission of recreation/activity summaries. Complete monthly summaries for funders. Required Qualifications Certificate in a related field such as a diploma in Behaviour Science, Developmental Service Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Psychology, Social Work or equivalent. At least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role providing support to youth or adults with developmental disabilities and complex needs. Current CPR and First Aid Certificate. Valid Class G driver’s licence with a clean abstract. Broad Sector Screen dated within the last 3 months. Initial medical form and up‑to‑date Immunisation Record. Effective oral and written communication and proven interpersonal skills. Strong administrative and time‑management skills. Prepared to participate in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) Training (de‑escalation and physical management training). Ability to provide employee development and coaching in a teamwork environment. Well‑organized, flexible, detail‑oriented and focused on excellence in customer service.
