Financial Analyst - Accounting and Reporting Join to apply for the Financial Analyst - Accounting and Reporting role at Intelcom | Dragonfly. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and present financial performance, trends, and variances to the direct team. Provide recommendations to resolve ongoing or ad‑hoc issues. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Help automate and improve processes using automation tools and AI. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards. Record journal entries for accruals, prepaids, PPE, and other month‑end entries. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure monthly and quarterly banking compliance. Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes. Monitor and analyze variances in account balances and conduct actual vs. actual variance analysis. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function. Support financial decision‑making through data analysis and interpretation. Provide support for financial decision‑making through data analysis and interpretation. Take on other ad‑hoc analysis tasks as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–3 years of relevant experience. CPA designation is an asset. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel. Proficient in Microsoft Business Central is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent team‑player skills.
