The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

As part of our Montreal team you will:
will be responsible for performance reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as other ad hoc requests as and when required;
will be responsible for expense analysis and reporting, contribute to the monthly financial close by collaborating effectively with finance teams globally, calculating and posting cost reallocations, budget and forecasting review and analysis and subsequent evaluation thereof;
the reports and information provided by the Financial Reporting Analyst are used by the Executive Management Committee and MaplesFS senior business heads to proactively manage risk, measure efficiency and make business decisions.
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
will have a Data Science, MIS or Accounting degree with 2 years' of post-graduate work experience in expense analysis, budgeting, forecasting and a strong background in performance reporting; preferably in a global, multi-currency environment;
must have advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Power BI and VBA Macro.
Key skills required for this role include experience in handling large volumes data, data analysis and management reporting process improvements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are also critical. The candidate must also enjoy collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Nous recherchons un Analyste de l'information financière accompli pour se joindre à notre équipe au sein de notre activité de services financiers à Montréal.

En tant que membre de notre équipe de Montréal, vous devrez:
l'établissement de rapports sur le rendement sur une base mensuelle et trimestrielle, ainsi que le traitement d'autres demandes ad hoc en fonction des besoins;
l'analyse et la déclaration des dépenses, une contribution à la clôture financière mensuelle en collaborant efficacement avec les équipes financières à l'échelle mondiale, en calculant et en affichant les réaffectations de coûts, l'examen et l'analyse du budget et des prévisions ainsi que leur évaluation ultérieure;
les rapports et les renseignements fournis par le candidat seront utilisés par le Comité exécutif de gestion et par les cadres supérieurs de MaplesFS pour gérer de façon proactive les risques, mesurer l'efficacité et prendre des décisions d'affaires.
Votre contribution
En plus d'une autonomie et de normes en matière d'éthique incontestablement élevées, le candidat idéal possédera les caractéristiques suivantes:
Il détiendra un diplôme en science des données, en SIG ou en comptabilité, en plus de deux années d'expérience de travail postuniversitaire en analyse des dépenses, en budgétisation et en prévision. Aussi, il possédera une solide expérience en matière de rapports sur le rendement, de préférence dans un environnement mondial et multidevises.
Il devra avoir des compétences avancées en Excel, notamment en ce qui a trait aux Power Query, Power BI et VBA Macro.
Les compétences clés requises pour ce poste comprennent l'expérience dans le traitement d'un volume important de données, dans l'analyse de données et dans l'amélioration des processus de rapports de gestion. De solides compétences analytiques et la capacité de recueillir, d'organiser, d'analyser et de diffuser des quantités importantes de données avec une attention particulière aux détails et à l'exactitude sont également essentielles. Le candidat doit également aimer collaborer avec des personnes aux talents variés, dans un environnement dynamique et évoluant rapidement.
