In this role, the financial advisor will develop and maintain the relationships for the Assante Financial Management Employee Accounts Program. Working in a team-oriented environment, you will use your organizational, investment knowledge and exceptional communications skills to provide advice and service existing or new clients with their portfolio of in-house products.ResponsibilitiesService existing clients in the Employee Account ProgramEnsure asset retention and service excellence primarily over the phone, via correspondence and in personProvide advice, information and execute trades for clientsEffectively promote benefits of mutual fund and other investment products to clientsAscertain and analyze client needs and objectives and advise accordinglyInvestigate and resolve client issues and initiate follow up on research effortsRespond to inquiries and complaints in a professional and proactive mannerQualificationsA minimum of two (2) year sales and client service experience within the investment industryStrong knowledge of financial markets with a thorough understanding of Mutual fundsStrong client service skills – required to build/maintain relationships with clients, employees and managementSales ability to handle outbound calls/meetings to/with existing clients.Post-secondary education, and IFIC or Canadian Securities Course a must.Insurance, CFP, CIM & other licensing an assetBilingual (French/English) an assetMust demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the relevant securities legislation and SRO rules and regulationsExcellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentationDetail oriented, professional and analytical, positive attitude and genuine commitment to client serviceGood knowledge of Naviplan, Snap Projections and MorningstarCI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms.
