Global Energy Investment Banking – Experienced Associate RBC Capital Markets is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Global Energy Investment Banking Team. This position offers the opportunity to develop a broad financial skill set and gain exposure to an evolving industry that must responsibly meet society’s growing demand for energy. The role is intended for individuals who wish to build a long‑term career in Investment Banking with a market‑leading franchise and global platform. What will you do? Lead the execution of equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory assignments. Develop and hone an analytical skill set through real‑world transaction experience. Gain exposure and insight into the global capital markets. Work directly with senior levels of Canada’s largest companies. Build a long‑term career in Investment Banking. What’s in it for you? Minimum of two (2) years of investment banking, private equity, equity research, corporate development or accounting experience. Desire to develop a leadership skill set and make meaningful contributions in a fast‑paced, team environment. Financial modeling and valuation experience. Prior M&A and financing transaction execution experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Undergraduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a quantitative field from a leading university.
