This hands-on leadership role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and meal service while fostering a respectful, responsive, and team-oriented environment. The Supervisor plays a key role in staff development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance resident experience and operational excellence. Responsibilities Housekeeping Oversight Supervise Housekeeping Attendants and ensure adherence to cleaning protocols and infection control standards Conduct staff orientation, training, and performance evaluations Develop work schedules and assign duties based on facility needs Monitor quality assurance programs and recommend improvements Participate in product/equipment evaluations and special cleaning projects Maintain safe, orderly work environments and uphold professional standards Support departmental planning, staffing, and communication initiatives Assume Housekeeping Manager duties during absences Food Services Oversight Supervise cooks and dietary aides, ensuring timely and accurate meal production and delivery Conduct daily audits and rounds with unit leads and residents Coordinate catering, special projects, and ARAMARK program implementation Manage food and supply orders, equipment maintenance, and sanitization logs Prepare and adjust staff schedules to maintain coverage Cover shifts as needed and support front-line routines Respond proactively to resident concerns and service expectations Team Leadership & Collaboration Foster positive working relationships across departments Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, residents, and stakeholders Participate in facility and community meetings as assigned Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous learning Qualifications Mandatory: Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience managing Union employees following CBA terms Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks and walk throughout the facility Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and fast-paced environments Clean Criminal Record Check Preferred 3+ years of experience in hospitality or food services within healthcare or senior living Degree or certification in hospitality, nutrition, or related field Knowledge of regulatory standards (Advanced FST, WHMIS, OH&S, Infection Control) Experience with scheduling, audits, and team supervision Education Associates preferred About Aramark Minimum 1-2 years experience At Aramark, we empower our people to create moments that matter through exceptional hospitality experiences.
