They are seeking a Controller responsible for overseeing various financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing financial controls. Provide senior management with a clear picture of the company's financial health.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development of the annual budget, offering insights and guidance on financial planning and performance forecasting.Financial Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and stability.Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.Tax Compliance: Oversee tax reporting and compliance, collaborating with external advisors as needed.Financial Strategy: Work with the Director of Finance to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.Audit Preparation: Coordinate annual audits, liaising with external auditors and resolving findings.Team Management: Supervise and mentor the finance team, including the General Accountant.About You?Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.5+ years of experience as a Controller or similar in the transportation/logistics industry.Strong knowledge of AP/AR or IFRS accounting standards.Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (Truckmate/TMW preferred).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Salary Range?$110,000 - $120,000/year.How to Apply?Click the “Apply Now” button and submit your resume in MS Word or Rich Text format.
