Key Responsibilities As the Project Manager – Team Lead, you will oversee project quotations and lead coordination efforts between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Your responsibilities will include: Project Planning & Bid Strategy Identify and qualify potential bid opportunities; assemble comprehensive material requirement lists, including lighting, switchgear, and related components. Collaborate with engineering consultants to confirm project scope and secure approvals for bid submission. Supplier & Client Management Engage with suppliers to clarify specifications, confirm bill of materials, and negotiate optimal pricing. Provide leadership in vendor and customer negotiations, ensuring alignment on costs, timelines, and deliverables. Quotation Development & Team Oversight Lead the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive project quotations. Coordinate efforts across internal sales, account management, and operations teams to ensure quote integrity and readiness for order processing. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Follow-Up Track and follow up on outstanding bids, determining status and potential next steps. Work with internal stakeholders to identify upselling opportunities within current accounts and enhance customer relationships. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following: Education & Experience High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in project management, estimating, or sales support, ideally within an industrial or construction-related environment. Proven ability to manage complex bids and lead cross‑functional teams. Technical Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications. Strong analytical and numerical skills for quoting and pricing. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and relevant industry software. Key Competencies Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
