**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Utilize HeavyBid and Bluebeam software to create detailed pricing models.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure all aspects of the project are accounted for in the estimate.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Conduct site visits to gather information necessary for accurate estimates.
- Negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing.
- Prepare bid proposals and present them to clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to budget.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Proficiency in HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other relevant estimating software.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
