As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in the development process, identifying and resolving defects before the product reaches the end user.Position FunctionsTest Planning and Design: Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications (UI/UX) to identify defects and ensure compliance with requirements.Conduct basic API validation using tools such as PostmanBug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and communicate findings to the development team for resolution.Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.Compliance Testing: Ensure that software products comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of the QA process.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experienceExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA Analyst role or similar position.Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing methodologies, automated testing tools (e.g. Playwright. NBomber), and bug tracking systems (e.g. TestRail, Zephyr, Azure, YouTrack).Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and identify root causes of issues.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French is a bonus), with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsCertification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
