We are hiring an IT Systems Specialist focused on user computing to join our IS team.We are looking for a committed and dedicated individual with an interest in ensuring all users receive a high and consistent level of IT customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to kick‑start their career in IT and gain valuable hands‑on experience in supporting and managing end‑user computing technologies. We will provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this role. You will work closely with our team of experienced IT professionals, gaining exposure to a variety of technologies and systems.You willEnsure meeting room checks follow the meeting room checklistMaintain IT stock levelsProcess application access and removal ticketsComplete tier 1 support ticketsHandle small furniture moves setting up workstations and arranging meeting rooms for various meeting typesPrepare new computersRecondition old computer stock for redeploymentVerify accuracy of our internal inventory systemsManage cables and decommission older hardwarePerform basic troubleshooting, such as a monitor replacementSet up new employee workstationsShip out equipment to remote employeesPerform maintenance as needed on printers (replacing ink, paper, etc.)Review email distribution lists for accuracyPerform IT orientations for new hires as part of their onboarding processComplete other duties as assignedYou haveGood interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation, with a focus on rapport‑building and listeningAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPassion for experimentation and new technologiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressureAnalytical and problem‑solving abilitiesAbility to take direction and execute assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiencyGreat customer service skills, with a focus on rapport‑building and listeningNo previous experience required – training will be providedWe offer a competitive total compensation package, an open and collaborative office in Calgary, and a great team environment.Apply online at nureva.com by close of business on January 30, 2026.
