Come find out for yourself what it’s like to be a part of our journey.What you can expect to do here:You participate in a team environment, work closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers to progress contaminated Upstream oil and gas sites towards closureYou review Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plansYou prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, review data and reports and provide recommendationsYou are responsible for project accounting, tracking and reporting requirementsYou train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation etc. as well as on site specific health and safetyYou interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals are moving forward – Work with other members of the team to ensure provision of the support necessary for completion of projectsYou work with and provide support to other members of the group in sharing health and safety, project management, project completion and client service responsibilitiesWhat you’ll bring to WSP:University degree in engineering or natural/earth sciencesMinimum 6 years of experience in contaminated site assessments of Upstream oil and gas sitesSound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace/Possess a safety conscious attitudeStrong field experience and willingness to train othersUnderstanding of the Alberta Environmental regulations such as Tier 1 and Tier 2 guidelines,How to applyPlease send email with resume to gerard.rubio@wsp.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
