**Title**:Manager, Remediation & Reclamation

**Location**: Calgary, AB

H3M Environmental Ltd. is growing - and we’re seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Manager to lead our remediation and reclamation team. As the Manager, Remediation & Reclamation you will oversee the full lifecycle of environmental services including:
**Role and Responsibilities**: Duties include, but are not limited to:

- **Team Leadership**:Provide overarching direction and guidance to multidisciplinary teams by establishing a clear strategic vision, empowering individuals, and cultivating a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture that supports continuous growth and long-term success.
- **Project Oversight**:Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of remediation and reclamation projects across various client portfolios, ensuring execution aligns with company standards and strategic goals.
- **Strategic Development**:Support the design and implementation of comprehensive frameworks for project execution—including scope definition, scheduling, budget planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
- **Client & Stakeholder Relations**:Act as the cornerstone of trust and communication - building strong partnerships with clients, regulators, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Oversee environmental compliance efforts, ensuring consistent adherence to applicable federal and provincial regulations and industry standards.
- **Risk Management**:Evaluate potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to maintain timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- **Industry Influence**:Represent H3M and our clients in industry working groups and strategic discussions - helping shape best practices and advancing sustainable progress.

**Qualifications and skill**:
Experience and Education
- A Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma relevant environmental sciences, engineering or project management.
- 10 + years experience in the environmental consulting or upstream oil and gas industry.
- Broad knowledge and experience with the upstream oil and gas industry and environmental regulatory requirements
- Professional designation is considered an asset (P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Ag or P.Biol)

Technical & Leadership Skills
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong command of project controls - budgeting, scope, scheduling, QA/QC
- Top-tier written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in balancing independent initiative with team collaboration.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities that create forward momentum.
